Description

A well-established Sacramento firm is looking for a Senior Corporate/Real Estate Paralegal to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with filings with the Secretary of State, incorporating and dissolving corporations and partnerships.

• Draft Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, organizational minutes, and governmental filings.

• Manage UCC filings, including the preparation of stock certificates and Certificates of Limited partnerships.

• Support attorneys in handling commercial real estate closings from start to finish, including ordering, reviewing, and clearing title.

• Prepare closing statements and documents, and handle post-closing work.

• Conduct extensive legal research and manage multiple legal projects.

• Utilize Adobe PDF Pro or similar PDF program, Excel, and MS Office applications.

• Maintain exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.

• Work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks under pressure.

Skills:

• Proficient in LLCs and Title Searches.

• Familiar with Incorporation - Dissolution procedures.

• Proficient in drafting Bylaws.

• Experience in Commercial Real Estate.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Paralegal role

• Excellent understanding and experience with LLCs

• Proficient in conducting title searches

• Knowledgeable about the process of incorporation and dissolution of a corporation

• Familiarity with drafting and reviewing bylaws

• Experience in commercial real estate is a must

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong research and report-writing skills

• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

• Must adhere to professional ethics and maintain confidentiality at all times

• Proficient in the use of legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
